Faster Starlink satellites are on the way. A badly fitted dish will still let you down.

What a PLEO install gets you

PLEO means Professional Low Earth Orbit. It's the difference between a dish that's up and a system that's built to last.

  • Custom installs planned around your property, not a one-size kit

  • Quality brackets matched to the roof, chimney or wall

  • Cat6 made to fit and neatly routed into the building

  • Bespoke setups and full network services, from mesh Wi-Fi to outdoor access points

  • Listed buildings, lodges and static caravans handled with care

  • Residential and commercial jobs, with safe working at height every time

New this week

  • Gen3 satellites: SpaceX has shared early specs for its next-generation Starlink satellites, with 250 kW of power and about 10 Tbps of capacity in each direction per satellite, as reported by Satnews on 4 October. There's no launch date, speed figure or UK timeline yet. Read more

  • Starlink for Communities: a new beta lets a host share one kit with nearby users, who buy hour, day, week or month passes while Starlink handles payments. No prices are published and no UK launch has been announced. Read more

  • Business security: Starlink has published an enterprise security page saying access to its systems needs multi-factor authentication, including hardware security keys (PCMag, 7 October). Read more
