Amazon Leo UK launch: where things stand (updated 31 October 2026)
Amazon Leo isn't on sale to UK homes yet. Ofcom licensed it for the UK in February 2025, a business preview began in November 2025, and Amazon says the UK will be among the first countries to get general service. Amazon hasn't given a UK launch date. We expect UK customers to be able to order from early 2027. That's our own estimate, not an Amazon date. Until then you can join Amazon's list, and book your survey with us so you're ready to install.

What is Amazon Leo?
Amazon Leo (formerly Project Kuiper) is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its satellites orbit between 590 and 630 km above the Earth, much closer than traditional broadband satellites, so the delay on the line is far lower and video calls, streaming and gaming work well. Amazon's first network is designed for more than 3,000 satellites. Nearly 400 had been launched across 14 missions by the end of October 2026, and more launches are booked for November.
You connect through a flat antenna, called a terminal, fitted at your property. Amazon has announced three:
Leo Nano: a compact 7 x 7 inch terminal with downloads up to 100 Mbps.
Leo Pro: an 11 x 11 inch terminal for homes and small businesses, with downloads up to 400 Mbps.
Leo Ultra: an enterprise-grade terminal with downloads up to 1 Gbps and uploads up to 400 Mbps.
Amazon says these speeds come from limited early testing and aren't guaranteed. Real speeds will depend on where you are, the weather, your Wi-Fi and how busy the network is.

You can't order Amazon Leo service through us; your service and terminal come from Amazon. What we do is make sure everything around it is right first time.
1. Join Amazon's list. Amazon's UK site, leo.amazon.com, has a free "Join the list" sign-up for updates. It isn't an order and it doesn't commit you to anything.
2. Get on our list too. Call or text 07534 524684, WhatsApp or email, ask for Andy. Tell us your postcode and what you need connected, and we'll plan the best spot for the dish, the cable route and the Wi-Fi.
3. We fit it when your kit arrives. Mount, cable, Wi-Fi, testing and a walk-through, done in one visit where we can.
Planning ahead pays off. Once we've surveyed your property, the mount position, cable route and router spot are agreed, so installation day is quick and tidy.
The right mount for your building
Every job starts with a check of the view of the sky. We pick a spot clear of trees, chimneys and neighbouring roofs, then choose the fixing that suits the building: chimney, wall, gable, pole or flat-roof mounts. Older houses often suit a chimney or high wall bracket, newer homes a gable bracket, and farms a pole that lifts the dish above hedges and barns. Amazon hasn't published its full UK mounting range yet, so we'll confirm the exact bracket once the terminals are on sale.
Wi-Fi, mesh and networking
Your Amazon Leo connection is only as good as the Wi-Fi that carries it round the house. Thick stone walls, extensions and long farmhouses can leave a single router struggling. We provide complete networking services for business, domestic and bespoke setups: mesh units room by room, cabled access points where the layout allows, and wired points for TVs, desks and offices. Neat, weatherproof cabling
Cables are clipped and routed tidily along the building, with a clean, sealed entry through the wall. Nothing trailing through windows or doors. Inside, we bring the cable to where the router works best, not just where it's easiest to drill.
Outbuildings, offices and barns
Garden offices, workshops, stables, holiday lets and barns are often too far from the house for normal Wi-Fi. We link them with a buried or clipped cable run, or a point-to-point wireless bridge, then add weatherproof outdoor access points so the yard or garden is covered too. Where it makes sense, your Amazon Leo terminal can go on the outbuilding itself.

Amazon Leo: your questions answered
Is Amazon Leo available in the UK yet?
Not yet for homes, as of 31 October 2026. Ofcom licensed Amazon Leo for the UK in February 2025, a business preview began in November 2025, and Amazon says the UK will be among the first countries to get general service. You can join Amazon's list now at leo.amazon.com.
When will Amazon Leo launch in the UK?
Amazon hasn't announced a UK date. It still says it plans to start initial service in 2026. Our own expectation is that UK customers will be able to order from early 2027, but that's our estimate, not Amazon's. We'll update this page as soon as Amazon confirms.
How fast will Amazon Leo be?
Amazon quotes downloads up to 100 Mbps for Leo Nano, up to 400 Mbps for Leo Pro and up to 1 Gbps for Leo Ultra, with Ultra uploads up to 400 Mbps. These are early test figures and aren't guaranteed.
How much will it cost?
Amazon hasn't announced UK pricing, so any monthly figures you see online are estimates. For the installation itself, we give a fixed price over the phone.
Where would the dish go on my property?
Wherever it gets the clearest view of the sky. We fit chimney, wall, gable, pole and flat-roof mounts, and we'll talk you through the options before drilling anything.
Can you get internet to my garden office, barn or stables?
Yes. We use a cable run or a point-to-point wireless link from the house, plus outdoor access points to cover the yard or garden.
How do I join the Amazon Leo waiting list?
Use the free "Join the list" sign-up on Amazon's website at leo.amazon.com/gb/en. It isn't an order and doesn't commit you to anything. Your Amazon Leo service and terminal will come from Amazon, and we'll fit it when it arrives.
Are you part of Amazon?
No. We are independent installers and are not affiliated with Amazon. Your Amazon Leo service and terminal come from Amazon; we fit the kit and set up your network.
