Starlink fitted on a new build in a remote spot with no mobile signal, plus an outdoor access point for site-wide Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi calling.

This is a permanent professional install. The dish went up on a galvanized bracket on a short alloy mast, cable was fed into the loft, routed through the roof space and down into what will be the comms cupboard. For now it is running from a temporary setup with a PoE injector powering the outdoor access point, which throws Wi-Fi about 200 metres. The whole house is covered for broadband and Wi-Fi calling today, and the full internal network will be finished later.

  • Galvanized bracket and short alloy mast for a lasting outdoor mount

  • Cable made and routed into the loft, through the roof space, down to the future comms cupboard

  • Temporary PoE injector powering the outdoor access point

  • Outdoor Wi-Fi covering about 200 metres, whole house covered now

  • Wi-Fi calling where there is no mobile signal, with full networking still to come
