Welcome to Space Internet Solutions. Since the launch of Starlink in spring 2021, we've been on a mission to elevate your Space Internet experience, with thousands of successful installations under our belt.
Now, with the arrival of Amazon Leo, Starlink's competitor, we're proud to offer professional installations for both services. We also provide expert support for home networks and Wi-Fi, so you get the most from your boosted speeds.
Machynlleth, in the Dyfi valley, is where Owain Glyndŵr held a Welsh parliament in 1404, and the Centre for Alternative Technology sits in an old slate quarry just north of the town. Starlink and Amazon Leo are both on offer for your Machynlleth property or farm, surveyed and fitted by our skilled Ex Forces PLEO installers. Ask for Andy.
We work across Machynlleth, Forge, Penegoes and Derwenlas. Fixed price guarantee, quoted over the phone, and we can usually fit within a couple of days.

Starlink & Amazon Leo Installation in Machynlleth, Powys
Starlink and Amazon Leo across Machynlleth, from Forge to Derwenlas.
Starlink Installation
Machynlleth has stone and slate terraces along Maengwyn Street and Penrallt Street, with cottages and farmhouses scattered up the Dyfi valley. Chimney brackets, wall mounts and garden poles and yard poles all come with us, and the survey decides which one gives the dish the widest northern view. Connect with us today!
Home Networking
Let us paint your Machynlleth home in Wi-Fi
Terraces and cottages in Machynlleth often have thick walls and add-on extensions that block Wi-Fi. We map the signal room by room and place mesh or wired access points where it drops.
Outdoor Wi-fi & p2p
Around Machynlleth many properties have stables, barns, workshops and holiday lets well away from the house. Outdoor access points keep the garden, yard and outbuildings online, and where a cable run is not practical we set up a p2p (wireless bridge) to the outbuilding.
Amazon Leo
Amazon's new Amazon Leo satellite broadband now sits beside Starlink as a real option for Machynlleth households, farms and holiday lets. We survey, mount and set it up just as carefully, as your main broadband or a backup. Skilled Ex Forces PLEO installers working nationwide across the UK. Connect to the future of internet today! Starlink and Amazon Leo in Machynlleth: your questions answered
Do you install Starlink and Amazon Leo in Machynlleth?
Yes. We are skilled Ex Forces PLEO installers working nationwide across the UK, and we fit both Starlink and Amazon Leo at homes, flats, home offices and businesses across Machynlleth, Forge, Penegoes and Derwenlas.
Are there rules on satellite dishes in Machynlleth?
Machynlleth has a conservation area and many listed buildings in its older streets, where dish siting needs more care. Elsewhere a rear or side mount is usually fine, but check with Powys County Council if you are unsure.
Do the hills around Machynlleth block Starlink or Amazon Leo?
In places. Parts of Machynlleth sit below the hills of the Dyfi valley, so we check the northern sky with a survey app first and raise the dish on a chimney or tall pole mount if the view is low.
Can Starlink or Amazon Leo reach my garden office in Machynlleth?
Yes. We run an outdoor cable or set up a p2p wireless bridge from the house, then fit an access point in the office so it gets a strong signal in Machynlleth.
How do I book an installation in Machynlleth?
Call or text 07534 524684, message us on WhatsApp or email spaceinternetsolutions@gmail.com, and ask for Andy. Every job comes with a fixed price guarantee, quoted over the phone, and installs in Machynlleth are done within a couple of days.
