Welcome to Space Internet Solutions. Since the launch of Starlink in spring 2021, we've been on a mission to elevate your Space Internet experience, with thousands of successful installations under our belt.
Now, with the arrival of Amazon Leo, Starlink's competitor, we're proud to offer professional installations for both services. We also provide expert support for home networks and Wi-Fi, so you get the most from your boosted speeds.
Old Colwyn (Hen Golwyn) is the older village at the east end of Colwyn Bay, with a wooded dingle running down to the promenade and the A55 along the shore. For Old Colwyn homes and businesses, we fit Starlink and Amazon Leo with the same care, and every job is done by skilled Ex Forces PLEO installers. Ask for Andy.
We cover Old Colwyn, Llysfaen, Penmaen Head and Llanddulas. Fixed price guarantee, quoted over the phone, and most installs are done within a couple of days.

Starlink and Amazon Leo for Old Colwyn, from Llysfaen to Llanddulas.
Starlink Installation
Old Colwyn has Victorian terraces along Abergele Road, semis and bungalows on the hill and older cottages near the dingle. Every mount is surveyed first: gable, chimney, wall or a pole in the garden, whichever gives the clearest sky. Connect with us today!
Home Networking
Let us paint your Old Colwyn home in Wi-Fi
Terraces and bungalows in Old Colwyn can leave back bedrooms and annexes with weak Wi-Fi. A mesh system or wired access points, set up properly, fixes it for the whole house.
Outdoor Wi-fi & p2p
Old Colwyn homes have back yards, small gardens and garden rooms that are usually just outside Wi-Fi range. Weatherproof access points keep the garden online, and a p2p (wireless bridge) takes Starlink or Amazon Leo across to a studio, workshop or annexe.
Amazon Leo
We treat Amazon Leo exactly as we treat Starlink. For Old Colwyn households and home workers, Amazon's satellite broadband can be the main line or a backup for work and streaming, fitted by skilled Ex Forces PLEO installers working nationwide across the UK. Starlink and Amazon Leo in Old Colwyn: your questions answered
Do you install Starlink and Amazon Leo in Old Colwyn?
Yes. We are skilled Ex Forces PLEO installers working nationwide across the UK, and we fit both Starlink and Amazon Leo at homes, flats, home offices and businesses across Old Colwyn, Llysfaen, Penmaen Head and Llanddulas.
Is permission needed for Starlink or Amazon Leo in Old Colwyn?
Most Old Colwyn homes can have a dish without planning permission if it is sited sensibly. Listed buildings and conservation areas are stricter, so check with Conwy County Borough Council if unsure.
Will trees block the dish in Old Colwyn?
Mature trees are the most common problem, especially around the dingle woods. We look for a clear gap to the north and mount the dish above the tree line on a chimney, gable or garden pole.
Can you fit Starlink or Amazon Leo at a flat in Old Colwyn?
Often, yes. With the landlord or freeholder's agreement we can fit a wall or roof mount and run the cable neatly into your Old Colwyn flat.
How do I book an installation in Old Colwyn?
Call or text 07534 524684, message us on WhatsApp or email spaceinternetsolutions@gmail.com, and ask for Andy. Every job comes with a fixed price guarantee, quoted over the phone, and installs in Old Colwyn are done within a couple of days.
