Starlink Installation
Shepton Mallet has old stone houses and terraces from its wool-trade days, post-war homes, and newer estates on the edges of the town. The dish goes up on a chimney or gable, or on a pole in the garden or yard, high enough to clear neighbouring roofs, hedges and trees. Connect with us today!
Home Networking
Let us paint your Shepton Mallet home in Wi-Fi
In Shepton Mallet stone houses and terraces, we test Wi-Fi in every room, then add mesh points or cabled access points so bedrooms, studies and conservatories all get a reliable connection.
Outdoor Wi-fi & p2p
Around Shepton Mallet many properties have stables, barns, workshops and holiday lets well away from the house. Outdoor access points keep the garden, yard and outbuildings online, and where a cable run is not practical we set up a p2p (wireless bridge) to the outbuilding.
Amazon Leo
Amazon's new Amazon Leo satellite broadband now sits beside Starlink as a real option for Shepton Mallet households, farms and holiday lets. Our trusted PLEO installer network surveys, mounts and sets it up just as carefully, as your main broadband or a backup: skilled Ex Forces PLEO installers working nationwide across the UK. Starlink and Amazon Leo in Shepton Mallet: your questions answered
Do you install Starlink and Amazon Leo in Shepton Mallet?
Yes. We are skilled Ex Forces PLEO installers working nationwide across the UK, and we fit both Starlink and Amazon Leo at homes, flats, home offices and businesses across Shepton Mallet, Cannards Grave, Doulting and Evercreech.
Can I put up Starlink or Amazon Leo in Shepton Mallet without consent?
Shepton Mallet sits on or near the edge of the Mendip Hills National Landscape (formerly AONB). Most homes can have a dish without planning permission if it is sited sensibly, but check with Somerset Council for listed buildings and conservation areas.
Is wind a problem for a dish in Shepton Mallet?
It can be. Homes on the Mendip slopes take the full force of the weather, so we use a heavy-duty bracket or pole fixed into sound masonry, keep the cable tight to the wall and seal the entry.
How long does a Starlink or Amazon Leo install take in Shepton Mallet?
Most Shepton Mallet installs take a few hours on the day. We agree the mount and cable route with you first and test the connection before we leave.
How do I book an installation in Shepton Mallet?
Call or text 07534 524684, message us on WhatsApp or email spaceinternetsolutions@gmail.com, and ask for Andy. Every job comes with a fixed price guarantee, quoted over the phone, and installs in Shepton Mallet are done within a couple of days.
