Welcome to Space Internet Solutions. Since the launch of Starlink in spring 2021, we've been on a mission to elevate your Space Internet experience, with thousands of successful installations under our belt.
Now, with the arrival of Amazon Leo, Starlink's competitor, we're proud to offer professional installations for both services. We also provide expert support for home networks and Wi-Fi, so you get the most from your boosted speeds.
Merthyr Tydfil, Merthyr Tudful in Welsh, was once the iron capital of the world, and Cyfarthfa Castle, the ironmaster's home above the old works, is now a museum and art gallery. Starlink and Amazon Leo are both on offer for your Merthyr Tydfil property, surveyed and fitted by our skilled Ex Forces PLEO installers. Ask for Andy.
We work across Merthyr Tydfil, Dowlais, Gurnos and Troedyrhiw. Fixed price guarantee, quoted over the phone, and we can usually fit within a couple of days.

Starlink & Amazon Leo Installation in Merthyr Tydfil, Mid Glamorgan
Starlink and Amazon Leo across Merthyr Tydfil, from Dowlais to Troedyrhiw.
Starlink Installation
Merthyr Tydfil has rows of iron-workers' terraces in Dowlais and Penydarren, large estates at the Gurnos and newer homes near Trefechan and the bypass. Chimney brackets, wall mounts and garden poles all come with us, and the survey decides which one gives the dish the widest northern view. Connect with us today!
Home Networking
Let us paint your Merthyr Tydfil home in Wi-Fi
Terraces and estate homes in Merthyr Tydfil often have thick walls and add-on extensions that block Wi-Fi. We map the signal room by room and place mesh or wired access points where it drops.
Outdoor Wi-fi & p2p
Merthyr Tydfil homes often have long, steep back gardens with sheds, workshops and garden rooms up the slope, out of the router's reach. Weatherproof outdoor access points cover the garden, and a p2p (wireless bridge) links Starlink or Amazon Leo to a cabin, barn or workshop.
Amazon Leo
Amazon Leo gets the same care from us as Starlink. For Merthyr Tydfil households and home workers, Amazon's satellite broadband can run as the main connection or a backup for work and streaming, fitted by skilled Ex Forces PLEO installers working nationwide across the UK. Starlink and Amazon Leo in Merthyr Tydfil: your questions answered
Do you install Starlink and Amazon Leo in Merthyr Tydfil?
Yes. We are skilled Ex Forces PLEO installers working nationwide across the UK, and we fit both Starlink and Amazon Leo at homes, flats, home offices and businesses across Merthyr Tydfil, Dowlais, Gurnos and Troedyrhiw.
Are there rules on satellite dishes in Merthyr Tydfil?
Merthyr Tydfil lies just south of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. Most homes outside the park can have a sensibly sited dish without planning permission, but check with Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council for listed buildings and conservation areas.
Do the hills around Merthyr Tydfil block Starlink or Amazon Leo?
In places. Parts of Merthyr Tydfil sit below the hills of the upper Taff valley, so we check the northern sky with a survey app first and raise the dish on a chimney or tall pole mount if the view is low.
Can I run Amazon Leo as a backup in Merthyr Tydfil?
Yes. We can fit Amazon Leo alongside Starlink or your fixed line, so your Merthyr Tydfil home or business stays online if one connection fails.
How do I book an installation in Merthyr Tydfil?
Call or text 07534 524684, message us on WhatsApp or email spaceinternetsolutions@gmail.com, and ask for Andy. Every job comes with a fixed price guarantee, quoted over the phone, and installs in Merthyr Tydfil are done within a couple of days.
