Starlink Gen2 to Version 4 Upgrade Complete!

The Upgrade Story

The original Gen2 dish had been installed approximately 30 months ago. While the dish had served well during that time, Starlink continues to evolve rapidly, and Version 4 offers noticeable improvements in speed, signal strength, and overall reliability.

Thankfully, the existing pole and bracket were still in excellent condition — rock solid and securely mounted. This allowed for a clean and efficient swap:

•  Removed the old Gen2 dish

•  Installed the new Version 4 dish in the exact same position

•  Ran a fresh cable

•  Connected and configured the new router

The entire process went smoothly. After a quick configuration, the customer’s home network was back online with improved performance almost immediately. ✅
